BIBOB na 10. mezinárodním sympoziu o bobrech v Inverness

The symposium brought together around 150 people from around 23 countries to exchange knowledge and research results on beaver ecology, their management and their role in ecosystem dynamics. The BIBOB project was represented at the event by two colleagues. Torsten Heyer (TUD) presented a poster focusing on the project’s cross-border research on beaver dam management and its contribution to climate change adaptation strategies. Aleš Vorel (CZU) gave an oral presentation on how wolves affect beavers in Bohemian Switzerland and the Šumava National Park. The CZU is the first team to investigate the relationship between wolves and beavers in Europe.

Their participation strengthens the visibility of the BIBOB project and increases international networking and scientific exchange of information on beaver-related issues.
